Beef cattle are livestock Bovidae family members and subfamilia Bovinae. Cattle kept primarily for milk and meat used as food. By-products, such as skin, viscera, and horns are also then be exploited. In some places, cattle are also used to help grow crops, such as pulling a wagon or plow.
Beef cattle today are descended from wild type, known as Auerochse or Urochse (German language means "old cow", scientific name: Bos primigenius), which has been extinct in Europe since 1627. Beef cattle even though many of its kind but is generally classified into one species.
Keep in mind also that Bali cattle are reared in Indonesia are different types of beef cattle with that mentioned in this article.
